Athena

“Athena,” Nicolo called out my name as he shake my shoulders trying to wake me up. 

“What time is it?” I asked squinting at him. I am not asleep but not yet awake as well. I am stuck in between but I am leaning on being able to sleep more.

He gave me a mischievous smile as he stands up before telling me the time, “It’s eight in the morning.” 

“What the hell Nicolo?!” I threw a pillow at him that he managed to dodge. 

“Come on sleepy head let’s have breakfast, I am feeling a bit lonely you know,” he said teasingly as he hide behind my door with only his head peaking in. He knows me well to make the door his shield. He stayed in that position and clings to it as if his life depends on it. “And I keep on telling you to call me Nicole when we’re home.
