“Keep that away.”

Jerson said while pointing his finger at the boxes of chocolates that Leon put into the cart. Vishnu gladly obliged and put it back on the shelves. He continued strolling at the supermarket as Vishnu simply walked beside him. He stopped at the milk ledges and scrutinized their expiration dates. He chose those packages that were about to expire in a month or two and put them into their cart.

Vishnu brushed his hair. “That will expire in a month or two,” he pointed out.

Jerson shrugged his shoulders and started walking again. “I’m gonna use it in a month or less anyway, so I don’t mind.”

Vishnu nodded. Again, silence dominates them.

It wasn’t awkward and uncomfortable talking to Vishnu unlike before. Ever since the bar incident, a wall between them seems to have been destroyed. They seemed to be closer and more intimate.
