10| Lying To Myself

I couldn’t believe the man. His photos were everywhere in this building. I caught a few framed things along the wall of models and ads for watches that weren’t of him. Does he have a watch company as well? I shook my head and decided to get the hell out of that building. 

I texted my driver from the conference room earlier how much longer I would be, so my car was there front and center when I walked out and I didn’t have to worry about any paparazzi. I probably look exhausted. I know I feel that way and am considering a real glass of wine tonight. 

This man is exhausting. That’s an adjective, right? Not one I should share with him, though. As hard as it may be, I need to stay on this guy’s good side. 

“Where to, ma'am?” My driver, Noah, asked from the front seat.
