"Her friend likes the place," I announced as soon as I entered our house. Matteo was at the dining area and as usual, he was working on his laptop, but this time, a plate of food was beside the device. I walked up to him and moved his laptop away. "Bad manners, Matt."

He glared up at me but didn't say anything about it. "And Cass?"

"She does as well. But she's hesitant. She thinks she's taking advantage of us."

"Well, she does have an advantage because she's with us."

"That's different," I told him and he nodded. "She says she'll give me an answer about the house tomorrow."
