"Are you sure I shouldn't drop you off?"

"I'm sure, Matteo." I laughed because he has been asking this question since I came into the office this morning. "I'll take a taxi. You can stay and finish up your work."

"Sure?" He murmured.

"Very."

He groaned before leaning down to place a kiss on my lips. Matteo rarely shower affection at work, but I appreciated it whenever he did. "Be safe." He said when he pulled away and finally let go of me.

"Always."

I left the office and walked toward the elevator but before I could press the button, the doors of the elevator opened up to reveal a man.

Naturally, I would have ignored him but he used the private elevator only five people had access to and he was seriously staring me down.

I cocked my head at him. "Do I know you?" I asked and he chuckled, shaking his head.
