I sat in Michaels office with my hands crossed against my chest as I waited for him to come in so that I could be over and done with this meeting.

I wasn't feeling good about any of this, I didn't like Mike and I was damn sure afraid of Theo, I haven't talked to him since the weekend and I cringe just thinking about it.

"Sorry I'm late, I had a meeting," Mike announced as he sat in front of me and I rolled my eyes.

"Theo's parents have been forcing him to take the company but he doesn't want it, he is apparently building up his own empire, I don't know what but it probably involves some illegal stuff. May I go now?"

I said everything in a rush because I wasn't willing to stay, I just wanted to go home and hide underneath my covers just like I have been the whole weekend.

"Woah, slow your roll there sweetheart. Repeat everything, from the start," Mike said sipping on his drink and I sighed heavily.

"Saturday evening we went over to his parent's house for dinner," I began and he held his hand up

"From the start, Xania."

"After you drugged me and threw me on his doorstep, he claimed me by saying I'm his new lady in exchange for not killing me. So Saturday evening, we went to his parent's house for dinner," I said more sternly and slower, annoyed by his presence.

"Carry on, please," he cleared his throat sitting straighter, crossing his leg over the other.

"At dinner, the family discussed a few issues about the company and how they think whatever empire he is trying to build will not work and he should just take over the family company, but he says he doesn't want it. In conclusion, I don't think he is a threat to you," I shrugged my shoulders, if he didn't want the company, then Mikey shouldn't be scared.

"You said something about illegal," he pointed out, keeping his finger over his lip as if he was in deep thought.

"I said, whatever empire he is trying to build might include something illegal, but I don't know what," and I don't want to talk about what I saw.

"Why do you say that?"

"Too many guards, too many guns, he even held a knife against my throat, seems like a criminal to me," I said without batting my eye, I wasn't going to tell him about what Theo did.

"It seems my dear Xania, it's time you up your game and get to know him better and everything he does," Mike said leaning forward and pushing my hair back. "Did he make you straighten your hair?"

"Yeah," I grumbled and Mike burst out laughing.

"It makes you look clean," he said, shrugging and tapping my cheek. Why did they both have the same mindset? "You know what to do, leave now."

"Gladly," I muttered, getting up and pushing my hands into my jacket and leaving his office.

On my way home, I couldn't help but think about Theo, as I have been the whole weekend. He didn't even bother explaining his behaviour after we got to his house, he basically told the driver to take me home and said he'd call me again when he needed me.

I didn't even know what he was going to do and why he did it and I still don't know what he does or who he is and that is what scares me.

A really calm person has to be the most dangerous one of them all.

My phone rang in my pocket and I groaned realising that it was the phone Theo had given me.

"Hello?" I answered not really happy that he called, I was hoping to rest today

"Come to my house," he commanded and hung up the phone. I don't know if he knows that I'm not his employee and even though I steal a lot of stuff I still do the mandatory please and thank you's because it's respect!

However, I still caught a cab and made my way over to his house, entering through the doors with a frown on my face, I stomped over to the living room flipping off the guards who were laughing at me.

I sat down on the couch and waited for him. I wonder what it is going to be now, I hope it's not another dinner that I have to attend.

He stepped into the room typing away on his phone and he still had not looked at me, he was greatly focused on whatever the task was.

"Oh, you're here," he said and I frowned, he was the one that called me, no?

"Yeah," I answered, rubbing my hands on my jeans and he sat down next to me.

"Your hair is still straight," he said looking at me for a second before going back to his phone.

"Told you it would take time for it to go back to its natural state," I muttered and he hummed.

"I was hoping the make-up wouldn't wear off," what in the world is wrong with this man! Did I ever steal something from him and he is just getting back at me for this. At every turn he just has to remind me how ugly he thinks I am, I might just start believing him.

"Ohkay," I whispered looking at my fingers wanting to leave his house and go back home.

"Oh come on, don't tell me what I said hurt you. You do know that you aren't that attractive, right?" he just keeps on adding salt to the fucking wound.

"What did you call me here for?" I asked him wanting to stop talking about my nonexisting attractiveness.

"In just a minute," he mumbled typing away on his phone and I rolled my eyes sitting back on the couch. He didn't call me here just to tell me I'm ugly.

"Can I ask you something?" I whispered moving forward and I looked at him waiting for his response, "Theo?"

"Just ask your question already, I'm listening," he said rudely and I almost didn't want to ask my question anymore and slap his head, he should learn some manners.

"Why did you beat up that guy and steal his car?" I asked softly and his brows furrowed but still, he typed away.

"I honestly thought you were smarter than that, but apparently you're an idiot and you're ugly, fits you well," he said getting up and I got up too, raising my finger.

"Now I have had it with you constantly insult-"

"Daddy!" a voice screamed running in our direction and I looked down and saw a boy who was barely above the age of six running to Theo.

"Oh, Jameson! Daddy has missed you," Theo said happily, pressing kisses all over his son's face and he was giggling. Wait a minute, Theo could be a softy?

A woman, a thin, tall, hourglass body woman strutted in holding her bag in her right hand and what looked to be a small duffle bag on her left.

This woman was gorgeous, regardless of the fact that she was wearing blue jeans and a white fitted funnel-neck shirt with black sneakers. She had long wavy brown hair, pouty pink lips, a button nose and beautiful blue eyes, she had no sign of make-up on and I have to say this woman was fucking hot! She was the exact opposite of what Theo wanted his women to look like, or me to look like.

"Theo," she greeted with a slight nod and he acknowledged her with a nod of his own, her eyes wandered off to me and she cocked her head to the side. "And you are?" No hi, okay?

"This is Jameson's new nanny, Xania," Theo announced and the way I turned my head so fast could have given me whiplash.

Nanny? Me? To that kid!?
