Jolene stares up at the castle. She’s been told 100 times that this is going to be hers. She knows that patience is a virtue. First she has to save her future king. She says this was sarcasm to herself because she knows who her real king is.The moon goddess can’t join them on this quest, because as the creator of the wolves, she can dictate what she wants, but she cannot control them or their actions. Theo continues to follow Jolene. The nights and days are so cold. It causes Jolene to get sick. She starts to breathe heavily. She refuses to allow the water to warm her up. Diablo and Theo went hunting, leaving the ladies to talk. Rora is cautious when approaching Jolene. Luna watches from a distance. Luna refuses to leave Jolene alone with Vlad. Diablo, Jolene, and Vlad wait while Luna has a private meeting with the moon goddess. Not even an hour later she returns, and she is full of fire.
