Chapter 24 - The Deal

Hazel POV

“What did he ask you to do that concerns us?”, Killian asks, and I’m not going to lie, his blue eyes are cold as ice, and he is terrifying me. I look at Elliot and then back at Killian before I regain the courage to speak.

“He asked me to spy on Elliot, to make him fall for me, to get as much information as I can, and I swear I only told him about the house”, I say, and he shakes his head. He looks at me with so much attention that I think I might be having a nightmare at the intensity of his eyes.

“I have a deal for you”, Killian says, his eyes moving between Elliot and me. Elliot looks at Killian frowning and then looks back at me, squeezing my hand.

“Okay?”, I say, and Killian stands up and walks towards us. He spins my chair around and rests his hands on the armrests, leaning closer to my face. Elliot stands up abruptly, making his chair fall back, and Theo follows through. I look into Kil
