Chapter 45 - Wedding planning
Hazel POV
When we reach the safe house, Elliot wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him as if he is afraid I am going to disappear into thin air. We walk into the house, and some people walk past us, people I have never seen before, but they all greet Elliot, and he knows all their names as he greets them one by one.
“Killian in the office?” he asks one of the older men that walks past us.
“Yes, and he is not in a good mood”, he says, and Elliot scoffs.
“When is he?” he asks before pulling me towards the office. We walk up the stairs, and when we reach the double doors, we can hear his voice coming from the inside. He really is in a lousy mood. Whoever is on the other end of all that shouting, I feel bad for them. I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that.
