Twenty-three

"Good morning.” says Jordan as he enters the room and places a kiss on my forehead.

"Good morning, are you going to be late today?" I ask.

"I'm about to give up going to university and staying here with you.” he says and smiles.

"How I wanted..." I pout and he gives me a peck.

"Yeah, but unfortunately I can't. I have a paper due today, and I need to talk to Jessica. I need to put an end to everything." I agree with him.

We stayed talking for a while longer, until Jordan left the house. After finishing my coffee, I washed the dishes and organized the apartment.

I was feeling light, so light that I noticed that I was bouncing around in all the rooms as I cleaned.

When I stopped in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror, I had a huge smile on my face, it looked like I was in love. Shit, not really.

I tried to put it out of my mind, and went back to my on-the-spot cleaning.
