Chapter Nineteen

I held his head tight in place afraid that he might just start breathing unusually again. His hands were on my waist. His grip was softer than before. His breathing was normal now but his body was getting cold.

His hands were almost ice. I wonder if he was still conscious though. The way he started to issue the panic attack I almost got scared. It seemed like he didn’t know he was getting a panic attack. He wasn’t used to it.

I did what I usually did with Josh. He used to get panic attacks very often in the past. As a child, I was clueless about what I should do. So the best part of me told me to hug him and I did. It always calmed him down. He said it helped a lot.

That is what I did with Zohan. Except that his reaction was far worse than Josh’s. Panic attacks always had a cause that triggered a somewhat memory. I wonder what triggered him. I didn’t even know if anything could trigger him.
