Chapter Seventeen

Her face was unreadable as my lips were on my hand. I covered half of her face and kissed my hand but if she comprehended, she didn’t look like I kissed my hand. She looked like I kissed her lips.

Her face was getting warm but my other hand was on her waist. Her body was getting cold. She didn’t expect that at all. Nor did I.

When I hovered over her for the first time, I felt an overwhelming urge to do it again. I was curious. I wanted to see her face getting numb again. But it seems like I shocked her a bit too much.

I removed my hand and sat back in my seat. I started the car and drove to where we were supposed to go as she was silent the whole time. If I had been on her for more than that, she would have fainted.
