SARAH PIERCE

I swear, each time this woman, called Evelyn Storm, appears before me, I always wish for a boulder to fall from the sky and crush her mouth. She always has something crazy to say.

Just what does she mean by I’m planning to kill her son? What have I done to warrant her calling me a criminal?

“Nathaniel,” she said to her son, “divorce her right away. She’s plotting to ruin you.”

“Coming here to speak nonsense is not a good look, Mother,” he replied.

“I knew you would act this way. That’s why I came with evidence.” She pointed to the image on the phone. “Do you see how she openly hugs another man in public?”

I stretched my neck to see that it was an image from yesterday, when Mr. Peter helped me from falling. The picture was captured so that it looked like we were having a romantic moment.

But that’s laughable. The picture doesn’t prove anything solid, yet this woman has decided to hold on to it, making it a big deal.

“Mother,” Nathaniel scoffed, “even if that’s what she’s

NATHANIEL STORMSeconds passed, and Sarah leaned more and more into our hug. And it fluttered my heart that she wasn’t backing away. And, I became a bit greedy. One of my hands swiftly and carefully travelled to the back of her head, which I caressed slowly while my chin nuzzled the top of her lovely-scenting hair. “I hate that this feels good,” she admitted, and my heart went crazy with excitement that I fought to contain. Then, I asked, “Do you want to stop?”“Not yet.”My excitement turned wilder. Her response encouraged me so much that with a little smile playing on my lips, I decided to take things further. I asked, “Do you mind us going to the living room?”She stirred. “To sit?”“Yeah.”“Okay.” That single word led me to lift her bridal style, and as her scent continued to play with my senses, I became greedier. My head started to imagine us walking down the wedding aisle. However, I cautioned myself. The moment was not about me but her and her search for a means to soothe

NATHANIEL STORM“Based on the images you received, it is clear that Miss Amaya was murdered and then moved to her apartment, where we found her,” Detective Dave explained.I nodded while pinching my thigh to help me focus. My mind was still in a struggling space, and I would have gone home straight from the hospital if I had not gotten a call from the detective asking to come down to give my statement. He continued, saying, “Forensics are still analysing the scene and other factors, but we’ve gotten nothing so far regarding the new suspect. However, before we get those results, we need something to work with before this case becomes tangled. Is there anyone you have in mind? Someone who has ill intentions towards you, perhaps?”“Well, there’s someone. She’s very unhinged, yes. But murder? That’s a whole different level. I don’t think she’s capable of that much madness.”“One madness often leads to another,” he replied. “We shouldn’t rule this person out. Can we get her name?”“Rosali

SARAH PIERCE“She’s in the hospital right now, fighting for her life!” Rosaline continued, the passion in her voice quite hilarious because it was ironic and silly. Then, as I stopped the laughter that was about to spill out of my guts, my shoulders jerked with great disbelief. “You’ve been fucking her husband for God knows how long. So, how’s that my fault?”I made sure everyone heard that statement, and they didn’t disappoint. They began to mutter, and some laughter that slipped in ridiculed her. I continued, “I am a hundred percent sure that she hurt herself because she caught you two in the act.”“T-That’s…”Seeing Rosaline flustered confirmed that that was the case. Mrs. Storm found them together, and things went shit from there. But it’s funny that Rosaline’s still alive. I expected that Mrs. Storm would have hospitalised her or Mr. Storm. I guess the woman’s only sharp-tongued when it comes to me.“You are crazy, Rosaline,” I said, my tone slow and mocking. “And you’ve got a

  • Contract With The Ex That Left Me   The villain

SARAH PIERCEAs I stared at Amir’s reply after I texted to check on him, I wondered if he really was fine as he claimed. Having experienced trauma because of another person myself, I can relate. And just as I often slip into the darkness of my experience, I fear that the same’s happening to him.Oh. My Amir. Why did that have to happen to you? It’s even worse that in our society, experiences like that are mocked because the majority believe that a man can’t be raped. But that’s bullshit. Consent is consent, no matter the gender. If anyone cries no, they should be heard. There’s no such thing as he was enjoying it because he got erect. Those terrible women, Evelyn Storm and her friend, who forced themselves on him, should be jailed for what they did.“God!” I cried in anger. “I hate this.”“Namesake,” my manager called out of concern, “are you sad that you are leaving us?”Lifting my head, I managed to smile at her. “Something like that.”“Don’t be. I will miss your quietness and calm

ROSALINE PIERCEA new day arrived, and it came with good news. With my plan to frame Sarah now super set, all that’s left is to alert the necessary people to take action. But when do I do that?I would love for the reveal to happen when Sarah’s at her lowest. But if that’s eventually not possible, that’s fine. Doing it when she’s at her highest works too. Once she’s tossed into jail, she would be in the lowest of the lowest because I’m sure being apart from her daughter would turn her crazy.Too bad since her daughter has no choice but to grow up as a criminal’s daughter. Maybe I should ask Dad to adopt her. It would be fun to see her suffer the way her mother did while growing up. And to top that, I will make it my project to ensure that Sarah becomes the worst villain in her daughter’s eyes. Damn, Rosaline. You’re just too good.I laughed loudly, and Edward stirred. “What’s the fun gist?” he asked, his voice raspy and sexy. With a grand smile, I rested on his bare chest and bru

  • Contract With The Ex That Left Me   Consequences

(Trigger Warning; Mild imagery related to SA.)AMIR JAMEELI have always been a simple person. I became simpler after I won my fight against cancer. With my might, I took life seriously yet easily. I didn’t stress when my father strayed further from my mother and I, and I didn’t break down when I realised that my illness had pushed me back many years behind my peers. I soldiered on and found a new beginning in S.L. Storm Entertainment. Even though the remnants of the lovely past I used to have occasionally seeped into my mind, I started to enjoy my fresh start. But that day… The good thing I found was tainted. After it happened, I thought I remembered it wrong. I said to myself, ‘Maybe I gave them a reason to act like that. Maybe I didn’t say no loud enough. Maybe I…’But I said no. I know that much. I can still hear myself screaming my refusal. I refused and refused, I even tore myself away when they managed to pin me down while sharing intoxicated giggles. And, they had their
