Chapter five: The unexpected meeting

Mia's pov. 

As Mia walked into the living room, she found two men who seemed to be engrossed in conversation. One of them she recognized as Alex, the man she had reluctantly agreed to a contract with. The other, she assumed should be his friend. 

"Good evening," Mia greeted them politely, trying to hide her surprise at their presence.

Hi I'm Mark, this rude guy best friend nice to finally meet you Mark extended his hand, with a warm smile on his face Alex has been talking quite a bit about you."

Mia shook Mark's hand, offering a small smile. "Likewise, Mark."

Alex gestured to the seating area. "Please, have a seat."

As Mia took a seat on the couch, Alex resumed his own seat, his gaze fixed on her. "I hope you are satisfied with your accommodation an the room ."

Mia nodded, appreciating the effort to break the ice. "Yes, the room is lovely."

Mark leaned forward, intrigued. "So, Mia, Alex mentioned that you had a condition of your own in the contract. He even threatened you to agree?"

Mia felt her cheeks flush a bit at being discussed in this manner. "Well, yes, there was a condition about allowing the mother to meet the child. And yes, there was some... negotiation involved."

Mark chuckled. "You've got guts. Not many people stand up to Alex."

Mia shrugged, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "I guess I just believe in standing up for what's important."

Alex cleared his throat, shifting the conversation. "Mia, I wanted to discuss some things with you about the arrangement. Since you're here now, it's best we sort out the details."

Mia nodded, mentally preparing herself to delve into this topic. The contract was binding, and she had made her decision.

"Of course, Alex. We can discuss whatever needs to be discussed."

Mark glanced between them, then stood up. "Well, I'll leave you two to it. Mia, it was nice meeting you. Alex, don't keep her up too late with all the business talk."

Alex rolled his eyes but chuckled. "I'll keep that in mind, Mark."

As Mark left, Alex turned his attention back to Mia. "Let's go to my study. We can discuss things more privately there."

Mia followed Alex to his study, her heart pounding. She knew this was a business arrangement, but being alone with him still made her nervous. They sat across from each other, a mixture of tension and formality in the air.

"Firstly, I want to assure you that I'll provide for all your needs while you're here," Alex began. "This isn't just about fulfilling the contract, Mia. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable or unhappy and because I want my child to bee in a good position during and after his/her birth. 

They spent the next hour discussing the terms of their arrangement, covering the practical aspects of their agreement. As they talked, Mia couldn't help but notice Alex's personality his sternness, his occasional softness, and the hint of vulnerability that occasionally surfaced each time he talked. 

********Next morning *********

I woke up on this strange bed OMG how did I got here I said look scared before I remembered that I have moved into Mr arrogant house. 

I stood up for the bed walked into the bathroom and did my daily business there I came out of the bathroom put on a short and big polo after spraying few perfume on my body. 

I walked down to the living room when I saw Mr Ian. Good morning Mr Ian I greeted.

He just looked at me and said we need to discuss about the important part of this whole contract that is the "child part" He said stressing that part. 

So this night be prepared we are going to have sex because, without sex we can't dream of having any child you know that, Alex said.

I'm not ready for this talk this morning beside who said one can only give birth through sexual intercourse and it wasn't stated in the contract that I signed that we must have sex, there are other alternative like IVF I said looking so mad at what Alex just said.

Did he think I'm so cheap or did he expect me to open my legs down and allow him to break my virginity all in the name of child?? I thought.

Mr Alex I'm hungry now I need to eat I said already walking out on him.

Mia come back here now I'm not done talking to you and next time you don't walk out on me until I say you can leave he said in his cold intimidating voice which send shivers down to my spine.

I stop on my track immediately, he should stop ordering me around I'm not his maid.. 

Alex then walked closer to where I stood and said huskily into my ear be prepared for this night we are going to have sex and what I say is finally he said.

I looked shocked cause I'm not prepared for what is going to happen this night.

Like tonight???? 

I shook the thought out of my head, maybe he is joking I said walking into the kitchen to prepare my breakfast.

Good morning ma'am the maid and chef greeted me.

Good morning you don't have to call me ma'am just Mia will do.

No the boss is going to scold us or even sack us if we call you by your name one of the maid said.

The chef then walked up to me what do you want for breakfast ma.

Anything will do I said.

After eating I decided to talk a tour around the mansion since the rude man decided not to do as if I existed.

While I was walking I saw series of rooms put this particular one drew my attention I walk towards it and try to open it when I heard that cold voice again that said "what are you looking for? " I immediately pause.

I was taking a stroll, I said

So this is a stroll opening the room you weren't asked to check, uhn?? he said obviously mad.

Why is he mad just because I want to open an ordinary door not like I have opened the door I thought in my mind.

Within the short period of time you are going to be staying her I don't want to see you in that room, do you hear me?? Alex said.

Ok I said walking back into the house going back to my room.
