CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

GRANT

I woke up to Muna's voice which sounded like she was annoyed.

I had no idea how I had fallen asleep, but I did anyway. What I wasn't sure of was her reason for being so upset.

"What the hell are you doing in my bed?" I finally heard her ask.

"Don't you remember what happened? You allowed me to stay here yesterday," I replied, wiping my tired eyes.

I got very little sleep yesterday because I had been watching her almost all night long.

"That's impossible, get out of my room this instant!" She yelled.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you acting this way? I took care of you throughout the time you were having cramps."

"Let me be, Grant, I don't need you confusing me about your true intentions," she said brushing her hair back in frustration.

She looked so young this morning and fragile. It was then that I noticed she had lost a little bit weight.
