Author's pov
It was morning, and Sebastian was inside his house when he heard the sound of a car stopping in front of his property. Moments later, he heard the car door opening, while he remained seated in his bedroom. A few seconds passed, and then there was a knock on his front door, accompanied by Tony's voice.
"Hi Sebastian! I'm at the door."
"Please just come in, the door is unlocked," Sebastian shouted from his room. In Tony's right hand, he held a silver-wrapped cylindrical box, and he pushed open the door. Upon entering, he looked around the room, and once he reached the middle of the living room, he asked,
"Where are you?"
"Please come inside," Sebastian replied. Before Tony left the entryway, he unwrapped the silver covering and revealed a bottle of wine in his hand. After placing the wrapper on the table, he entered the house and followed Sebastian's voice.
"Thanks for coming!" Sebastian was the first to speak when Tony entered his bedroom.
"What are friends for? I bought you your favorite wine."
"Wow, thanks. I hope this isn't a bribe to make up for not being able to attend my parents' anniversary?"
They both laughed, and Tony remained standing.
"No, no. I was incredibly busy. My schedule was overwhelming."
"I'm just kidding," Sebastian chuckled, but then showed a sudden sharp pain as he moved his right leg while laughing.
"Oh, sorry. How's your health?"
"I'm getting better. I'm so grateful you're here," Sebastian, who was sitting on an armchair, touched the bed with his right hand, indicating for Tony to have a seat.
"How's Becky?" Tony asked as he was about to sit down. "Is she inside, or did she go out to the grocery store? I saw someone who looked like her on my way here," he added.
"I don't think it was her. She's at her mom's place as we speak, and she's the reason I called you."
"I hope everything is fine. Hm-hmm… I hope it's not about the unending misunderstandings between you two.``
"Yeah, but this time, it's getting out of control. Can you believe it? Just because I'm in a wheelchair or using crutches, Becky has the audacity to speak to me however she pleases. She doesn't listen to me. It's like she thinks she's too important to obey me. And when I tried to compromise, it only made things worse." Sebastian hit his two index fingers together as his hands came together, and he continued,
"I think she's seeing someone else. She's always dressing to impress that person now. And you know what?" Sebastian looked into Tony's eyes.
"What?" Tony said in a low voice.
"She stopped answering her calls in front of me. Wouldn't you think that gives me reason to believe she's cheating on me?" He paused.
"Hmm..." Tony took a deep breath.
"She refused to sleep in my hotel room when we went to my parents' anniversary and gave me some lame excuses. I even told her that I didn't want to have sex with her, but I needed her presence to assist me if I needed anything. But she adamantly refused. She wanted to cause a scene, and I quickly told her to do whatever she pleased. Someone even told me she was dressing provocatively at the anniversary."
"With whom?" Tony asked.
"I don't know, I was stuck in a chair. Although I asked my brother to keep an eye on her, he was also busy catching up with old friends. I don't know what I've done to Becky that made her change so suddenly. I love her. I love her deeply," he raised his voice. "I'll do whatever it takes to win her back. We can't end our relationship like this. If we do, then I'm a failure."
"But how are you going to do it?" Tony asked.
"I don't know, that's why I called you, for any suggestions. She was supposed to be here with me, supporting me. I know what I sacrificed for her mother's critical operation."
"I suggest you let go of everything you've done for her and her mom. You need to persuade her. Give her the freedom she's seeking, and once her heart and mind trust you again, you can marry her. Once she's living under your roof, you can gradually work on changing the things you don't like about her."
"I've considered that, but it might take a long time…"
"That's the only way," Tony interrupted. "As long as you haven't seen her with another guy, just assume she's not cheating on you. Becky is too beautiful to let go like that. You need to humble yourself until she feels safe with you again."
"But she refused to answer my calls. When I called her mom, her mom said Becky was there and her mum said she wanted to see me. Can you take me there this morning?"
"Why not? I suggest you accept everything her mom tells you. Don't disagree. Tell her you misunderstood everything. That way, you'll win over Becky's mom and Becky herself."
"So, how can I do this?" Sebastian asked.
"Just think back to when you first asked her out. What was your mindset?"
"To always please her."
"Exactly! You need to do the same. You also need to smile even when she does something hurtful or disrespectful. Just smile. Remind yourself that you have a goal, and you can only achieve it by pretending to be the person she likes again."
"It sounds nice. But do you think my fears will go away? I'm scared. I get a shock whenever men look at her, and it gets worse when they laugh or smile with her. It makes me furious."
"Gradually, you'll overcome it. Just follow my instructions. Like a green snake on green grass."
"Tony, I haven't told you this before. I'm a very jealous person."
"Hmm... jealousy won't stop you from having the woman of your dreams. Dress up nicely. First, we'll stop at a flower shop, and you'll buy two beautiful roses. One for her mom and one for Becky. Apologize sincerely for your recent behavior. Remember, don't argue with her. Your arguments won't help. They'll only ruin everything. You need to lure her back patiently."
"Thanks, Tony. It's been tough being alone. Can you believe it? It was out of pity that Becky agreed to go to the airport to pick up my brother. If you were in town at that time, I would have asked her to leave. I hated that she took advantage of me because of my injured leg."
Tony opened the wine, and they drank before Sebastian got dressed. He put on a navy blue suit, and Tony helped him out of the house. Then they got into the car.
Tony was about to start the car engine when he suggested,
"Shouldn't you call Becky or her mum to let them know you're coming?"
"I've already told her mum that I'll be coming today."
"Okay." Tony turned on the car and drove out of Sebastian's driveway. As they were driving, Sebastian couldn't hold back his pain and added,
"Do you know the last time I made love with Becky, I had to beg her? It was the same day my twin brother arrived. She agreed so that my brother wouldn't have to hear our voices. I even had to beg her to be on top because of my leg. I had to beg for everything."
"Now, imagine you're asking her out as if you've never met before," Tony replied.
"For the past few weeks, especially since the accident, I've been living as if I don't have a girlfriend. I can't imagine what I'll do to Becky when I can finally walk properly again. I'll find that guy she thinks is making her world turn around."
They stopped at a flower shop and bought two flowers before continuing their journey. It took about an hour and thirty minutes to reach Becky's mom's three-bedroom apartment. The time was close to noon when they finally arrived. Tony was the first to get out of the car and he helped Sebastian, holding his crutches as he slowly made his way to the entrance door. Tony reached the door first and knocked on it.
It took about eighty seconds before Becky's mom appeared at the door. As she approached, she called Becky's name twice. "Becky! Becky!! Can't you hear the knocking on the door? Where are you?" These were her final words before opening the door. Upon seeing Sebastian with his crutches, she felt compassion for him and said,
"Oh! Sorry, please come inside."
The two men entered and sat down while Edna couldn't stop looking at Sebastian as he struggled to move and finally sat down.
"Becky... where are you?" She called, but when she received no response, she said,
"Please give me a few seconds, let me go and call Becky. Why would she leave you in such a painful condition?" She turned and walked inside the house, calling her daughter's name.
"Becky...?”
Author's pov Sebastian managed to stand up and made his way to the door. He leaned his crutches against the wall and opened the door. "Good morning, Mrs. Edna," he said, looking surprised. "Good morning, Sebastian. How was your night?" "I'm fine." He continued to stare at her, trying to see if Becky was standing nearby. Not seeing anyone, he refocused his attention on Becky's mom. "I came to see Becky." "Becky?" He exclaimed. "Becky is not here." "But she told me she had come to your place..." "My house? You can come inside and check for yourself," he replied, making way for Edna to enter the living room. "Why has Becky lied to me? I promised you she would come. We talked yesterday morning, and she said she would come here yesterday evening. She even texted me that she was here." "She's not here, Mrs. Edna," he reassured her. They were both standing when Sebastian's neighbor knocked on the door, and Sebastian went to meet him. "Where has she gone?" Edna wondered
Author's pov Daniella went inside to take her bath. There were three bathrooms in the house, but she decided to use Sebastian's master bedroom bathroom. Her brief time with Sebastian had made her feel at ease, and she had a different mindset towards him. She felt like she had captured Sebastian's heart and could do whatever pleased her. She entered his bathroom, took her bath while humming her favorite song. Inside the bathroom, there was a mirror. After Daniella had rinsed off the foam from her body, she stood in front of the mirror and admired herself. She playfully swung her large round breasts in the mirror and thought, "I hope I feel his hands on my boobs."She came out of the bathroom and wore Sebastian's blue boxers. Instead of wearing Sebastian's shirt, she opted for his white singlet, which highlighted her breasts from different angles. The edges near her armpits and her cleavage, along with her nipples, were prominently displayed. Joyful and confident, Daniella retur
Daniella's pov I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as I head to Sebastian's house. What can I say or do to make Sebastian find me interesting? I don't even know his likes and dislikes. I was still thinking about how to make a good impression when the taxi stopped in front of Sebastian's house. The sun was setting, and as I walked towards the front door, I could feel my heart racing. This is something new for me, and I hope it goes well. I gently knocked on the door and waited. After a few minutes, I knocked again. "Who's at the door?" Sebastian asked, and I could hear some noise coming towards the door. "It's Daniella," I replied, pausing for a moment before the door opened. "What?" I screamed. "What happened to you?" I bent down and gently touched his injured leg. We were still at the door when I asked again. "What happened to you?" "So your friend didn't tell you?" he asked. "If I had known, why would I be so surprised? The last time we met, you weren't using c
Author's pov Daniella was heading to her workplace to submit some files, but she was consumed by the desire to secretly see Becky's boyfriend. So, she left her workplace on time, pretending to her boss that she wasn't feeling well. Around 1 pm, Daniella arrived in front of Sebastian's house. While sitting in the back seat of the taxi, she took out her red lipstick and applied it to her lips. She didn't consider herself particularly attractive, except for those men who preferred women with large breasts. In that department, she was well-endowed. It was the first thing you would notice about her. Instead of knocking on the door, Daniella pressed the doorbell, trying to maintain a smile on her face. She pressed the doorbell repeatedly, but there was no response. "Where could he have gone?" She checked her wristwatch and turned to look around the compound and saw only one of his cars. After a while, she decided to knock this time. "Hi..." she said, waiting for a response. When s
Author's pov When Edna arrived at Becky's room, she found it quiet. Her eyes scanned the room from one end to the other, but there was no sign of Becky, who had stormed out of her mom's room in anger about thirty minutes ago. "Becky? Are you in the bathroom?" she called out, showing concern. Edna walked towards the small bathroom and knocked on the door, but there was no response and the shower remained still. "Does she mean what she said?" Edna wondered. Just as she was about to leave the room, her eyes caught sight of a piece of paper on Becky's bed. She moved closer and picked it up. "Was she really serious?" Edna thought to herself as she began to read the contents of the letter. "Dear Mum, I'm deeply sorry for the way I spoke to you a few minutes ago. I know it may not make you happy, but I needed to take control of my own happiness. There's a saying that goes, 'It's better for someone to break your heart once by leaving your life, than for them to stay and continuously brea
