My heart pounded like a drum.

Bella’s words echoed in the quiet room, her arms crossed, her eyes fierce with accusation.

I blinked, stunned by the directness of her question. "What? Bella! no! Of course not. Where is this even coming from?"

She raised a skeptical brow. "Don’t lie to me, Aria. You’ve both been acting weird lately and hardly have any time for us. And I’m not stupid not to know what the fuck is going on."

I forced a nervous laugh, trying to steady my voice. "Bella, I swear, there’s nothing like that going on. Your dad is just being... your dad. That’s all."

She studied me for a moment, her gaze softening just a little. Then she sighed and dropped her arms. "Okay. Sorry. I just had this weird gut feeling recently. Maybe I’ve been overthinking."

I nodded quickly. "You definitely are. I mean, come on, you’re my best friend. I’d never do anything to hurt you."

She let out a soft breath and smiled. "Alright. Cool. Sorry for being all crazy. Anyway, I’m heading out for a bit.

“Don’t,” Nicholas snapped, his voice like steel.Helen froze, visibly trembling. “I—I—”“Don’t you dare finish that sentence,” Nicholas cut in, his voice so sharp it could split glass. The tray wobbled, orange juice spilling over the rim of the glasses. She nodded frantically, eyes flicking from his face to mine. Nicholas stepped closer to her, still holding me. “If a single word leaves your mouth about this, not only will you lose your job, but I will make sure no one in this city hires you again. Do you understand?”I swallowed hard, fear and excitement tangling in my chest.Helen’s lips quivered. “Yes, sir. I won’t say anything. Please… forgive me.”“Now get out,” Nicholas ordered. She turned so fast she almost tripped over her own feet, the tray clattering against the doorframe as she disappeared down the hallway. The silence afterward felt like thunder. My cheeks burned. “Nicholas… she saw us.”“I don’t care.” His gaze burned into mine. “Let her choke on it. The only thing she n

  • Craving My Best Friend's Daddy   Get Back, Now

Just as I was about to take off my clothes, I heard my phone ring so loudly from the bedroom. I made an attempt to leave the bathroom to get in but Adrian grabbed me by the arm. "You are going to spoil the fun, don't go." For some reason, I turned stubborn within that second. "Let go." I said to him and he complied. I glanced at Bella too and she had a smug expression on as I stepped out. I walked out, half bare to get my phone and saw that the caller's id was Nicholas. My heart skipped a bit immediately as I accepted the call. "Where are you?" His commanding, deep voice sent cold chills down my spine. "I'm out...with Bella." I responded, stuttering. "Location?" He requested. "I can't reveal that to you." I replied and I could literally feel him boil with anger from the other end. "Get out of there right now! Meet me at home." He instructed. I was shocked either way, he was not supposed to be home now. He had a business trip right? "You can't just--" "I don't need your opin

  • Craving My Best Friend's Daddy   The Sex Shop

Bella was already dressed when I came out of the bathroom. She wore a short red dress that fit her perfectly, with soft curls framing her face and gold hoops catching the light when she moved.“You look amazing,” I said, picking up my bag.She gave me a quick spin. “You’re ready too.”I had chosen a fitted black top and a short denim skirt, paired with ankle boots. My makeup was simple, just enough to make my eyes stand out. I didn’t want anything too heavy. We walked to her car, the sunlight warm on my skin. There was an energy in the air that made me feel like the day was going to take a turn I didn’t expect. As we buckled in, I asked, “So your friend really owns a sex shop?”“It’s more than just a shop. You’ll see,” she said. The drive took about twenty minutes. When we pulled up, I understood what she meant. The building was large and modern, with dark tinted glass and a bold pink neon sign that read Claire’s Playhouse. The parking lot was lined with palm trees, and behind the bui

I stormed down the hallway, my hands shaking, heart pounding. My chest was tight, and all I could hear was the sound of my own ragged, shallow breath. I needed space, silence, anything that wasn’t Nicholas. But just as I reached for the doorknob to my room, I felt a strong hand grab my wrist."Aria, wait up," Nicholas said, his voice low and strained.I spun around. "Let me go."He didn’t. Instead, he pressed me gently against the door, his tall frame caging me in. His eyes searched mine, desperately."Please. Just listen to me for one minute. That’s all I’m asking."I swallowed hard, the anger still fresh on my tongue, but something in his eyes made me pause. So I gave a short nod."Ten years ago, your father was almost sent to prison for embezzlement. It was a setup, Aria. One of our rival companies framed him to get him out of the way, but I did what I had to do to protect him. I didn’t know he was your father. I only found out recently."I blinked, stunned. "Why didn’t you tell me

  • Craving My Best Friend's Daddy   A Weekend Away

The rain had started falling as soon as I stormed out of Nicholas's study, my heart was pounding so hard I thought it might burst open through my chest. My arms clutched tightly around me, trying to hold myself together as my legs kept moving, but my mind was spiraling.I couldn't believe it. My mother. The woman who had already destroyed one part of me by fucking my ex boyfriend, had somehow fucked Nicholas too. Long before I ever came into his life. And he had no idea I was her daughter.I stopped under a tree in the garden, breathing hard, shaking. My dress clung to me from the rain, and I didn’t care. I didn’t care that I was getting soaked or that my mascara was probably running down my cheeks. All I cared about was the ache inside me.Then I heard his footsteps."Aria!" Nicholas’s voice cut through the rain, hoarse and full of desperation.I didn’t turn. I didn’t have the strength. He reached me in a few quick steps, grabbing my wrist gently. I spun around, my eyes blazing. "Wha
