11. Revealed?

"Mr. Mendez, the company—Um... Sir?"

Jerrald snapped out of his reverie as the secretary roused him. He glanced around.

Ah... he was in his office. Even standing right in front of his desk. Jerrald hadn't realized he'd been daydreaming since he left the meeting room.

"What is it, Eloy?"

"Is there something on your mind?" asked Eloy worriedly. The boss seemed to lack focus. Not just this time, but since the meeting room.

Several times Eloy had to snap Jerrald out of his reverie. That, of course, made Eloy anxious. Could it be that the boss was not feeling well?

This was the first time Jerrald was not focused at work.
