Livia
I scrunched my nose in disgust, watching the disheveled man stumbling over his feet. I could smell the alcohol emitting from him. Another victim turns to alcohol to solve their problems.
Something I knew all too well.
I sigh, looking up at the sky. "You are drunk. Please leave my way before I make you regret laying your bloodshot eyes on me."
A shabby-looking guy circled me. "Ooh, this one has a smart mouth. I think we will have fun taming her," he smirked.
I really don't want to resort to violence tonight. "Didn't anyone ever tell you to mind what doesn't concern you?"
"You should watch your mouth, girly. Girls with attitude are the ones I have the most fun putting in their place." This guy was above average height, with piercings and tattoos, tossed his cigarette out of his mouth, and stood toe to toe with me.
Unlike the other two, he didn't seem as drunk. Besides the cigarette between his lips and the two lightweights next to him, he would be my type. Something about a man who knows how to wear tattoos and piercings does something to me. Sadly, he is one of those men suffering from a masculinity crisis. How unfortunate!
"Touch me, and you will wish you hadn't." this was my final warning.
He attempted to grab me but immediately regretted it after I gave him a quick jab to the face. "AAAA! SHIT! THIS LITTLE BITCH BROKE MY NOSE!!" He yelled, stumbling back in pain.
I laughed, seeing the blood ooze between his fingertips. The thirst for blood has been building up for weeks, and it seems tonight that hunger will be quenched. "Aww, did I hurt the little macho man? Hmmm, I'm sorry, but not really." Again, I laughed, returning the mocking look he gave me as he withered on the ground holding his bloody nose. Then, out of nowhere, I was pinned to the wall. I rolled my eyes. "Last chance. Walk away or die."
A slap was plated across my face. "Who are you to warn us? Do you see the position you are in? You are outnumbered and out strengthened."
I chuckled and blew my hair out of my face. "You have no idea who you are fucking with, I warned you all, but none of you listened. For every action, there is a reaction."
The same guy was about to slap me again. "Shane, that's enough, don't damage her too much. After we taste her, we can profit from her as one of our pleasure girls."
I made a mental note to have Asa pull their information after giving these disgusting people the punishment they deserve.
"Who's tasting her first?" Shane asked disgustingly. "Boston, you want to go first?"
Boston snapped his nose back in place. "Damn, that hurt. I must admit you have one hell of a punch, girly." He chuckled. "But Jerome, you go first. I'm afraid nothing would be left to enjoy after I'm through with her. So make sure to get her good."
Jerome smirked. "A hot piece of ass like this, I will make sure to give her a night she will never forget."
Shane steps to the side. "Don't have too much fun; leave some for us."
Disgustingly licking his lips, "She looks so delicious I can't make any promises." he stood between my legs, pressing himself against me. "We are going to have so much fun, my beauty."
"Why do you idiots never take the warning?" I cocked my head back and brought it forward with brute force. "Two for three. Shane, you want to join the busted nose community?" He rushed me, the impact knocking the wind out of me.
"You little bitch I'm going to kill you." He wrapped his hands around my neck. A burning sensation ignited from the center of my chest and traveled up my throat. My eyes started to feel heavy, and my mind was foggy.
"Escape. What are you waiting for? There is always a way, think Livia. WAKE UP!"
"Yes, Master J."
Adrenaline coursed through my body. I put all my strength into bringing my knees to my chest and abruptly dropping them to the ground, breaking myself free of Shane's grasp. I coughed, trying to take in as much oxygen as possible before quickly giving him a roundhouse kick to the chest, knocking the wind out of him to return the favor.
Stumbling to my feet, "All I wanted was a peaceful walk to prepare for a shitty day I will have tomorrow, and then you motherfuckers just had to ruin my night." I grabbed my gun and aimed it at them. "Now, what should I do with you?"
Jerome threw his hands up. "Don't shoot, don't shoot."
"Look how fast your demeanor changed. I thought you were going to show me an unforgettable night."
"I didn't mean it. Just let us go, and we promise to never do anything like this again." Jerome pleaded.
I patted the gun barrel on my cheek. "If I let you go, do you promise never to victimize another woman?" he shook his head vigorously. "Sadly, I don't believe you." And shot him in the leg. His buddies stood in fear as he screamed, withering on the ground in pain. "Aww, are you okay?" watching him cry like the little bitch he is was comical.
Shane finally caught his breath and tried to get up. I kicked his arm from under him and watched as he fell back down with a low grunt. "I didn't say you could get up. I warned you, didn't I? I told you to walk away, but you assholes didn't listen. So now, it's time for your punishments. Don't worry. I'll make sure you enjoy it."
I took a knife out of my boot, taunting him. "Please don't." he cried out.
I cut him across his face. "No, no, no, you don't get to beg and plea. Don't you enjoy taking from the weak? You ruined your life, but you don't want to die, so instead, you create misery to accompany your own."
"No, you have it all wrong."
Unfazed. "I don't think I do. How many lives have you destroyed?"
He cried hysterically. "I promise if you let us go, we will never hurt a soul again."
"Liar."
"No, I swear." at this point, snot was dripping from his nose.
"You look a mess. Where is your pride, man? If you're going to be bad, then be bad, man. Here let me show you." I turned my attention to Boston, who had been frozen in place this whole time. "What was it you said? Ah yes, after you got your taste, you would sell me off as one of your pleasure girls, correct."
"No, we only said that to scare you." He protested.
"Good to know. But unfortunately, you chose the wrong girl to torment." I drove the knife into his left shoulder. The most arousing scream I've ever heard erupted from his mouth. "What a baby," I slit his throat and watched as he choked on the crimson-red substance leaking from the gash. The other two trembled in fear.
"Y-Y-You're C-crazy!... H-how could y-you do that?" Shane stuttered.
I pulled him towards me and drove the knife through his chin. I gently stroked his cheek. "I am not crazy. I am fucking psychotic." I laughed hysterically, walking toward Jerome.
"I'm sorry, p-please don't kill me. If you let me go, I promise I won't tell anyone about this." He pleaded with hands clasped together.
"Oh, Jerome, save your breath. Your fate was sealed the moment you idiots decided to not listen to my warning. But don't worry, you will meet your friends soon, in hell."
"I beg you, please don't, ahh," I embed my knife deep into his flesh. I watched all evidence of life slowly fade into the abyss of darkness.
"You talk too much," I inhaled, allowing the humid air and the rustic smell of blood to enter my nostrils. Then, coming down from my high, I pulled out my phone and sent a picture to Malakai, "It's time to take out the trash, side alley off New Grove Avenue." I looked at the soulless men admiring my work. "Next time, take the warning."
Meanwhile the Mafia King and his Goons have finished settling a misunderstanding with neighborhood gangs. Turns out they have a traitor in their mist.
"Tomorrow, we have to pay a special visit to that traitor. How dare he steal from me and sell my products as his own."
King likes to think of himself as a reasonable man. If someone asks for food from his plate, he will give it to them but take it from him, and you will repay with your life.
Casper yawned. "Let's get home and get some shut-eye." Suddenly they heard horrific screaming. Their instincts were now in high gear pulling out our guns and hiding behind anything they could.
"Where the hell did that come from?" Ace whispered.
Reaper knelt protectively beside me. "Whatever it was, it has nothing to do with us. Let's get out of here." King knew he was right, but something pulled him towards the alley. "Boss? What the hell are you doing? Ughh, I don't feel like killing anyone today." Reaper grumbled, but that was the least of King's concerns.
Turning the corner, they saw two men dead on the pavement and another pleading for his life.
"Who the hell does she think she is, Wonder Woman?" Ace snorted.
"I think whoever those guys were, chose the wrong girl to pin in a corner." Blade was amused that a single woman managed to take down three grown men, two of whom lay lifeless on the pavement.
Tech was captivated. "I am getting more of a Black Widow vibe from her."
"I beg you, please don't, ahh," his words were cut short by her digging her knife into his stomach. She stared into his eyes like she dared the man's soul to remain attached to its chosen body.
The longer I watched her, the more I felt "Intrigued."
She pulled out her phone taking a picture. "Damn, that's tough," Reaper was also impressed.
"Next time, take the warning." She tucked her hands in her pockets and exited the alley like nothing had happened.
Reaper stood next to me. "You saw it to, right?"
I smirked. "Yep."
"She's something."
"Indeed."
Livia Gunshots rang in the air. Dead bodies and blood were everywhere. A little girl sat in a corner, rocking back and forth with hands over her ears. The people with no faces are there again, protecting her. "Run" was the last thing she heard before everything went black. I awoke from my dreamland panting and soaked in sweat. "What is that dream? Is it a nightmare? Is it a memory? Who is that girl?" questions I have been asking myself for years but never seem to find the answers to. My phone started ringing. "What?!" I yelled in an annoyed tone. "Woah bitch, what's with the attitude?" I sighed. "What do you want, Alicia?" She let out a nervous giggle. "I am here with Zoe, Nina, and Sandra." "Good morning, Liv." I heard them yell in the background. A smile tiptoed on my face, but I knew something was up. "Morning, ladies. Alicia, answer my question." "Which one?" she asked cheekily. "The only question I have asked so far. Obviously, you want something otherwise; why bother rin
Mafia King Nightlife has taken over our side of the world. I could be at home in the comfort of my study, enjoying a neat glass of whiskey while casually scanning over paperwork or allowing my mind to wander about a special someone. But instead, the seven of us stood across the street contemplating paying a conjugal visit to a man stealing from me. He made the worst mistake by betraying me. Now it's time for him to pay up or lose his life, whichever comes first. "What's the status?" I asked Ace, my underboss. "According to Al, our traitor has left his house all day." "Are you sure?" "Yes, Boss, the house has been under surveillance since last night." "Okay, let's make this quick." I typically wouldn't visit personally, but disloyalty pisses me off. "I want Blade and Tech to be on the lookout. Tech, block the power lines. I don't want any phone calls getting in or out. Chess and Casper scan the house from top to bottom, ensure no one else is present. Reaper and Ace will stay by my
Livia Words left me. My brain stuttered, and every part of me paused while my thoughts caught up to reality. "What business does my father have with the Crimson Clan?" Cassian removed his mask, running up to me. "Which of you idiots shot my- shot her?" he asked furiously. Parker followed behind him, ripping a piece of his shirt and wrapping it around my wound. I winced as he tied his blazer across my good shoulder and back, creating a cast to keep my arm alleviated. "It's okay, little one. You will survive, the bullet isn't that deep, but it could get infected if not treated soon." He looked at me with sorrowful eyes, like the pain I felt was killing him. I jumped onto the counter. "I've been in worst situations," Aside from the occasional skirmish with my father, the Originals ensured I was prepared for anything. Cassian looked at me, concerned. "What do you mean you've been in worse situations? That doesn't denote the fact that you're hurt now." He said a bit angrily. Why is
Apollo Adrian and Livia becoming lovers? I don't know why but the mere thought really pissed me off. "Shut up and go to the living room. NOW!" everyone went silently perplexed by my sudden outburst. "I don't appreciate the tone of your voice Mr. River," Livia expressed daringly. Usually, I would dote over her carefree nature, but I was still on edge after Poet's little joke. So I walked towards her sandwiching her between me and the counter. She has a scar. How did that happen? Stay focused. "Kitten," "Kitten? Here I thought you were a stickler for formalities, King." King sounds so sexy as it rolls off her tongue. "Kitten, my patience is running thin, so be a good girl and get that pretty little ass in the living room or else," She pressed herself closer to me. "This position seems familiar. Doesn't it, King?" "Careful, kitten. I am still your boss." She has no idea how much I love when she calls me King and how much I want to taint your honey-like skin. And the tent forming in
Livia "You wipe your hands clean of me? Who do you think you are?" I laughed. "Who am I? Who am I? Good question. Maybe you know more than you let me believe. Huh, Ray?" I would have been strangled, chopped into pieces, and thrown into the ocean to become fish food if looks could kill. "The ground suits you well, you old fuck." I said as I sat in the armchair across from him. He smirked. "Laugh while you can. Pretty soon, you won't be." "Mmm, I really hope you die soon, then there would be one less deadbeat asshole polluting the world." his smirk was replaced with a frown. How satisfying. Apollo grabbed my attention again. "Kitten, you must be wondering what business I have with this traitor." "One of his few attributes." "To put it shortly, he stole from me and is now indebted to me. "Our original plan was to torture and then kill him because we knew there was no way he would be able to pay us back." I crossed my legs. "Which you should have. It would have been a blessing to t
Apollo I was getting angrier by the second. Is this really what Livia had to go through? A father that resented her for something she had no control over. To beat and ridicule an innocent child to relieve his painful mourning is inhumane. I quickly caught Livia as she stumbled backward. "Livia, are you okay?" she looked dazed. Suddenly she took on a pale look as if she'd been painted with whitewash. She swayed for just a moment before fainting in my arms. "Oh my god, Livia!" I yelled out, getting the other's attention. Cassian was the first to run up to her. "What happened?" "I don't know. Livia was fine a few seconds ago, and she suddenly fainted." Chris checked her pulse. "Her pulse is irregular, but it is strong. We need to attend to her wound before it gets worse." "Alright, let's move out." I picked her up, carrying her out of the house. The paleness of her skin and the blue tint making its way to her lips were worrying. Adrian ran up to me. "Boss, what do you want us to
Livia Chris was so done. "ADRIAN!" "YES?" he yelled from downstairs. "I NEED YOUR HELP. COME TO APOLLO'S ROOM." "OKAY." Adrian came running up the stairs. "What do you need help-" he gasped, seeing Cassian passed out on the floor. "What the hell happened to him?" "Don't ask. Just help me take Cassian to his room." Adrian threw his head back in defeat. "Fine," before hoisting Cassian over his shoulders. "Livia, don't forget what I said," Chris warned. "Aye, aye, captain." He stared at me. "Apollo, make sure the Queen doesn't overdo it." "Was already planning on it. There is no way I'm letting her out of my sight under her current condition. "Chris, he is slipping," Adrian whined. He shook his head. "Why are you still standing here? Useless." "Hey." I let out a hearty laugh as Adrian hauled Cassian to his room. "I really like your laugh," Apollo said, eyeing me adoringly. He really knows how to get my blood flowing. "Since I'm bedridden, there is something I have always b
Livia Beep Beep Beep I blindly reached for my phone on the side table and glanced at the time. "It's 3 O'clock in the morning. Who in the hell is messaging me this early in the damn morning on a freaking Sunday at that?" I unlocked my phone and saw several missed calls and unread messages. "Shit, I am as good as dead," I whispered, quickly opening the chat. Apollo confiscated my phone after catching me working on a project when I was supposed to be resting. Me: Hey guys, what's up? Blake: Aye, don't come in here talking all casually. Why have you forsaken us? Percy: We've been trying to reach you. Is everything okay, Liv Liv? Sandra: Speak for yourself cause we had a girl's day last Saturday. Percy: And you didn't think to invite me? Sandra: Xx NO BOYS ALLOWED xX Alaric: Oh, look who decided to respond after worrying everyone. Why haven't you answered our calls or texts, shorty? Me: Woah, Casanova, it almost sounds like you miss me? Alaric: In your worst night
