Another "scam"

Cooper left after Jasper told us that my real father frequented the golf course, but that wasn't a place either of us wanted to be.

Jasper touched my leg. "Are you alright?"

"I don't know how to feel about any of this. A part of me wants to make contact, but another part is sacred because I don't know what the outcome will be."

"Just follow your heart, do what it is telling you to do."

"Right, I can't just go up to the guy and tell him that I'm his child.I know nothing about him."

"He isn't a bad person, that's something I know for sure. I remember him being easy to talk to whenever my father would drag me to the country club. Maybe it won't be so bad."

"Ok, but how will I find him?"

"Not to brag, but you have me. I can easily ask him for a meeting or there is a charity event that he always donates to. I'm sure that he will be there."

"When will this be?"

"Thursday."

"Jasper, tomorrow is Thursday."

He seemed to think about it.

"Hmm, you are right. How did I lose track of the days?" He
