Bianca turned her head towards her friend and turned her palms up to silently ask him what was wrong. "Luna? Did I hear you right?" the vampire chuckled through his teeth. He was shaking now, trying to regain his composure, almost struggling to keep the blackness from taking over his eyes as Bianca watched him. Beta Duncan ignored him completely, then tilted his head slightly toward Bianca before pivoting on his heels and heading for the exit. "Wait, one second," the young woman asked calmly. Bianca was scrubbing a corner of the bar, taking advantage of a moment of calm so she could get as much work done as possible. Augustin called her to say that he'll bring Rosy later. As soon as the sun had started to set, the customers rushed to the exit. She wiped her forehead carelessly to clear a lock of hair that fell over her eyes. The day had been entirely chaotic. The three knocks on the door made alpha Black look up. He held various documents concerning Bianca in his hands and read them religiously. The whole life of half his soul was there, written on simple pieces of paper. "Come in," he said without any intonation in his voice. "Alpha," Duncan greeted. Black carefully placed the sheets of paper on the large table in his office and followed his second in command with his eyes. Beta Duncan stood straight in front of the desk and bowed his head once to his Alpha. "Alpha. I'm sorry to insist again, but the Crescent Moon Pack continues to request your presence at their Luna ceremony," he announced carefully. "Which side do you want us to put this crate on, Bianca? "asked one of the Moon Crescent pack members. "Under the bar, next to the cups, thank you," she replied confidently. Bianca took a moment to contemplate where she was. It had been a good hour's drive before she could get in. A pack member guided her into a large, landscaped clearing as soon as she arrived. The place was illuminated thanks to garlands beautifully hung in the trees. The grass under her feet was green and tender. Four large bars stood in the corners of the clearing, helping to define the reception area. Large wooden tables were set up around a large dance floor in the center, and they were decorated with large bouquets. A smile appeared on the lips of the young woman when she saw a jazz band take their place and start to tune their instruments before the beginning of the evening. "It's perfect," she couldn't help but murmur. "This is a very appropriate outfit for the evening," Dhara said in her smooth voice.

Bianca noticed the sudden tension that seemed to have taken hold of those present. Because of the jazz band's music, she had not heard Amber's words and was trying to find out the source of the general unease. Suddenly, she let out a small, high-pitched scream and crouched head down behind the bar. She had kept her hands on the counter but had to put one on her heart to calm herself. Amber and the girl leaned over, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. "Is everything okay, Bianca?" asked Amber. "Oh, la la!" It's Mr. Fantastic!" she said in a high-pitched voice, her cheeks red and her eyes sparkling. Amber and the girl gave each other a quizzical look before turning to the last area Bianca had looked at earlier. When they saw who was standing there, they automatically looked down and bowed their heads again. "Do you see what I see, Deborah?" asked Amber to the young woman with cheeks still marked by the ink of her mascara. "Yes," replied the young woman, sniffing loudly
