95 : Epilogue

"Magnus," a voice from another time called softly.

Black suddenly opened his eyes and looked around, searching in panic for Bianca.

They had returned from the Crossroad Café. And, he had spent the rest of the day making sure that his Luna no longer carried the scent of the other Alphas males who had been in the Café. Once tranquilized and fully satisfied, he fell asleep by keeping the body of Bianca firmly against him.

"Magnus," the voice called again.

He leaped to his feet, growling and threatening the mystical voice that echoed around him. He was surprised when he realized he was in the clearing where his pack gathered on full moon nights. His eyebrows furrowed as he saw the Moon Star so close to the Earth. Time seemed to stand still, and the air was filled with magic.

Magnus looked down at his open palms and was surprised to find Wind Tribe patterns on his skin. It was as if an artist had drawn the ancient symbols with silver ink.
