Chapter 73

“Well did they bite?”

Ezekiel turned round to look at Vivian as she walked up the stairs. The morning light streaming in through the window of her apartment made her look angelic and she was anything but that. She had invited him over the previous night after he sent his men to intercept Lawrence who had gone to report the mission to attack the mansion to Noah. He should have known that Noah would be a thorn in the flesh and killing him was proving to be a little too difficult now.

“Why did you invite me here? I am a busy man, Vivian, you could have easily come to the hideout.”

“I am not your little dog, Ezekiel, and you seem to be forgetting that. I helped you get your new pack, you know?”

He snorted. “A dysfunctional group of men who have never been on a battlefield! They are incompetent. Noah killed them easily and the others are dead too.”

“Hmm, that’s too bad, after all the trouble I went through dining with the enemy just to get them. Alpha Brandon is an enemy of the Dark Storm
