Interrupted wedding

The next day.

Meanwhile, in Vermont village, Crystal was getting prepared for her wedding. She had a smile on her face, her face was flushed and excitement was evident in her eyes. She had beautiful blue eyes and black hair that was tied into a beautiful bun.

On her body was a blue gown made of laden quality, with golden moon designs all over it. Crystal looked pretty in her wedding dress, she had on a pretty golden hairpin that belonged to her late mother on her head.

"You look beautiful Crystal, my daughter looks so pretty. Your look like a princess." Idris muttered happily to his daughter. Idris is crystal's father, he had long dark hair and brown eyes. He an on a pretty coat for his daughter's wedding.

"Thank you so much dad, you look less pretty yourself." Crystal whispered to her dad with a beaming smile across her lips. Her eyes sparkled like the stars, and her plum lips are colored red. "Thank you, Crystal, let's go out. Erick and his family have gotten here."

Idris told his daughter, stressing his hand out for her to hold onto. Crystal smiled and stretched her hand out taking her father's hand, "let's go then, I don't want to make them wait any longer." Crystal mumbled.

Mr. Hale held her hand taking her out of the house with him, their house was a little cottage like the rest of the villagers had in the village. Covered with a thatched roof, outside the house a small group of people that could be considered the entire village gathered outside.

Erick stood with his parents awaiting the arrival of his bride, his hands tucked behind him. He had a little smile on his face. When he saw Crystal coming towards him a smile stretched out on his lips, and his eyes lit up in happiness. Love was evident in his gaze.

"Get ready for the wedding between Erick watts and Crystal Hale." The oldest man in the village muttered and sounds of happiness filled the air.

Back at the Palace, "Alistair let's get going, I believe this is the time to get there" Lorcan mumbled scratching his brows. "Let's get going, we can teleport any way so what's the rush?" Alistair grumbled.

Lorcan rolled his eyes at Alistair before placing his hands on Alistair and they both disappeared into tiny air.

Arriving at the village, they stopped at the back of Crystal's house. "I don't want to do this, why does the king want a betrothed girl as his bride?" Alistair questioned in frustration.

"Keep shut." Lorcan reprimanded with a push on the head of Alistair. "Let's get this done, did you make sure the letter got to the village head?" He questioned.

"Yes I made sure of that, he will be here any second now," Alistair mumbled telepathically to Lorcan as they both casually matched into the gathering of the people.

"Stop! This wedding cannot hold." Lorcan mumbled in a loud tone when he saw Crystal was about to exchange rings with Erick. Everyone including Crystal turned their eyes to where Lorcan was standing.

Question marks float in their heads.

"This marriage can't happen today, miss Hale you can't get married to him," Lorcan explained moving towards the stage where the couple was standing. The village head rushed into the gathering at that particular moment, sweat dripping from his face.

He looked anxious, he quickly made his way to the front of the audience. "What are you saying? Who are you to say this? Who do you think you are to badge into this place and try to stop the wedding." Erick muttered angrily from the altar.

Murmurs and whispers filled the air people talking among themselves, a few were worried why others, wondered in anticipation of a new drama.

Lorcan and Alistair could hear all the whispers from everyone around them, Lorcan raised his hand to scratch his eyebrows. Alistair glared at the people instead.

"Gentlemen and Ladies please listen, this is the king's betas. They are both werewolves, the king has sent them here." The village explained trying to calm the people down.

Another row of whispers and murmurs filled the air once again, "so they are werewolves."

"Are they here to kill us, there is a war between humans and werewolves. Am sure they are here to kill us." Another whispered in panic and fear to the others.

People immediately started moving out of the venue at a slow pace, fear, and panic evident in their eyes. Crystal stated worriedly at everyone, she turned towards her father with questions in her eyes.

Idris sighed in worry, he wondered what crystal had to do with the werewolf king that her wedding was stopped. Why did the king choose to send his men today of all days?

"Let's straight to the point here, we are here to stop the war between humans and werewolves. The massacre is getting too much for us to handle and more humans are dying too." Alistair mumbled getting straight to the point piquing everyone's interest.

"The king's council has concluded how to stop this war, this is why this wedding cannot hold." Alistair continued.

"What solution are you talking about? What does that have to do with my son's wedding?" Erick's mother muttered in a proud tone, she was one of the high mighty people in the village.

"Yes sir, please tell me. Why is my daughter's wedding being interrupted for this cause? I believe you could discuss this with the village head in his house." Idris remarked moving to the front.

Stick had become impatient and anger was building up in him, his veins popped out of his neck trying to hold himself back. Crystal's attention was piqued at Alistair's words.

Curiosity got the best of her at the mention of humans dying. "The solution the council has come to is that Crystal Hale has to get married to the king to stop the massacre going on in the kingdom." Lorcan finally dropped the bomb.
