Chapter Hundred and Ninety

Alpha Lucas POV

"This is my mansion. I hope you will enjoy staying here," I said.

With smiles on her face, "this mansion…" she stressed.

I wonder what is it she is thinking about. I guess a few past memories plunged her mind about the mansion.

"What is wrong?" I asked when I saw tears roll down her cheek.

"You can't understand, this mansion has been the place of torture and imprisonment for me for a very long time. I remembered when I was first carried into this. It was so terrible," she said.

I couldn't smile, because I understand to what extent her grief and pain is. "I understand… McCartney," I said forgetting she has not informed me of her name.
