Weeks had passed when suddenly, my father-in-law’s wife showed up out of nowhere, asking him for help. Until now, we still don’t know why she appeared so suddenly. Or maybe, she simply had nowhere else to go and thought of coming to Kastor. The man she once abandoned, and what? Did she really expect him to take her back? And then she even wanted to see Kairo, even though she used to hurt him when he was still a child. I have no idea what’s on that woman’s mind. Maybe that’s also the reason why she didn’t sign the divorce papers, because she knew she could use it if ever she got into trouble. That, or she really just needed money.
