Sierra woke up at exactly six-thirty in the evening. She rubbed her eyes and stretched out herself on the bed to regain some sort of composure. Today was probably the longest she had slept all her life without having to think about her problems and why her life was miserable. Nora was finally okay and if everything goes according to plan then she would also be discharged soon. She felt like a huge burden had been lifted off her shoulders but at the back of her head, she knew that this happiness she was experiencing at the moment was short-lived. It just wasn't over yet.

The sudden reminder came with anguish and a little fear of the unknown. Shaking her head vigorously, she pushed the dreadful thoughts at the back of her head and left it there. She would bask herself in the present and leave the the things she couldn't control to the future.
