It was evening, and Roy had left, but after promising to finish the stroll tomorrow. Also, Emberlynn was right; he had used the rest of the day to avoid answering her questions.

Even though she had seen a lot of places in the pack house, he had told her, it was merely just a fraction he had taken her to. That made Emberlynn wonder how huge the pack house actually was.

Emberlynn looked around the pack's courtyard; she was sitting on a bench strategically placed under a tall, ancient oak tree in the center.
