I was to accompany Dante to an event today. It was just two days after the meeting at Ferrante's house, Dante had been indecisive about letting me join him.

I had to convince him for the umpteenth time that I wouldn't get into trouble before he let me join him.

He was at a work event, a friend of his was having a party and he had been invited to it.

I glared at Ferrante when I saw him.

Silvana stood timidly by his side.

I watched as he flirted with other women and kissed a woman right in front of her. It was the highest form of disrespect to me.

The fact that other people seemed unbothered showed me that it was probably a normal occurrence for them. I watched as she walked away from the scene presumably to the bathroom and then I excused myself from Dante's side and followed her.
