The meeting (II)

Nisha.

God, as always I have to hurry not to miss the bus, to take me to my work, I fell asleep once again, I run along the sidewalk, trying to be on time, he smiled when he noticed that just at that moment the bus was parking.

I stop suddenly, so I can let a car pass at the intersection and I start running once more, as soon as I reach the stop, I stand behind an old woman who, well, walks slower than a turtle, I apologize and get on before She, until the end of the drive, some popular Latin song is playing on the radio, but the driver begins to change the station, he didn't pay attention to her, until he finds a news station.

“…it is presumed that there are around 15 bodies, shot, only one survivor with bullet wounds in both legs, he did not want to give statements, but it is presumed that this horrible episode is due to a confrontation between mafia organizations, it is already the third Once in the last 4 months, with many similarities, armed attacks in caravans on a target that we still do not know…” the journalist continues and I focus on her words.

>>But due to the insistence we must presume that it has not been reached, the authorities are looking for possible culprits but so far there is no clear clue of the issues that lead these organizations to set up these scenarios and generate so much death, in residential areas as this, an expertise has been done in the surroundings but nothing has come to light, a possible reckoning was the statements given by a local police officer.

A shiver runs through my body, hearing the news, the memory of Max comes to my head clouding my thoughts, I sigh trying to forget about that, but come on, how do you forget that your younger brother was hit by a bullet in one of those confrontations that occur out of nowhere when these so-called organizations cross paths.

That's right, I have two brothers, well I did, Max was murdered four years ago, I was at the wrong time in the wrong place. I sigh since my day had started relatively well, if we forget the detail that I fell asleep, everything seemed perfect, until that news clouded my good mood.

The rest of the way I keep remembering the twins, my brothers, what they were like and how great it was to be with them, I sigh, Mou is now in college and tries very hard to be someone, I on the other hand had to leave my studies to work, I hope to be able to resume them next year, I look out the window and I'm already close to my job, I ask for the stop and I get out, I sigh as I feel the breeze hitting my skin and I walk towards the elegant restaurant where I work, this This job has been one of the best jobs I've ever gotten, the pay is very good and the hours aren't that killer.

I walk through the alley that leads to the back door, to the employees' door and I pull it, I pass and I bump into Michael, one of my co-workers

“Nisha, you're late, Pit is looking for you, there's a dinner, don't worry tonight, hurry up,” he says, passing by me, adjusting his tie.

“Hi Mike, okay thanks for letting me know.”

I tell her smiling, nodding and walking past her to grab my black apron and place it over my impeccable uniform. I walk into the room next to the kitchen and knock on the door a couple of times, I hear Pit's voice on the other side.

"Come in," I shyly pass and find my boss sitting behind a huge desk with a list of orders in hand. when he sees me, but he quickly notices the list again.

"Hello Pit, okay, are you important people?..." I see how his body tenses slightly and he nods.

"Very much so please do as cool as ever…" I nod and walk out of the office.

I walk inside the elegant restaurant that barely has a few tables occupied, I go to the VIP room and I go in, they have already started with the preparations, so I just have to supervise a few things, after a while we have everything ready, Pit approaches me and I notice him tense and nervous.

“What's up Pit?...” I ask him, because it's rare to see him that way, he's characterized by being a cheerful, funny and very relaxed guy.

“These are important people, I want everything to go well…” he says, looking in all directions, looks at his watch and whispers. “Nisha must be here soon, make sure they let them in immediately,” I nod and smile, I put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," he nods and whispers.

"I hope so," walking into the kitchen to talk to the chef.

At that moment I see how an extremely attractive man approaches the entrance, he wears a dark suit and carries that air of importance that is rarely seen, I go to the door and I go to him, knowing that this is the client by the that Pit is so nervous.

"Good evening, welcome, your table awaits…" I tell him, waving him in.

Our eyes meet for a moment and I have to admit it. He's not only handsome, he's fucking sexy, his eyes are clear, his lips are full and pink and he has a stubble that looks luxurious on him, his hair is very well combed, he's surely someone from the government, as soon as he sees me he smiles , wow, his smile, seriously this man has everything it takes to leave any woman drooling, just as I am right now, he looks at me for a moment and comments amused.

“Where?” I wake up from the little trance in which his appearance has left me.

I guide him through the interior, we enter the VIP room, I show him the table, he nods approvingly of everything around him and comments.

"Nice place." He looks at me for a second and then takes a seat.

"Thank you sir," I tell him, he looks at me for a moment and shakes his head.

“Griffin baby,” I look at him strangely.

“Excuse me?” He smiles again and answers.

"No sir, my name is Griffin, you can call me that," his request surprises me, but I refuse.

"I'm sorry sir, but I can't call you that" he smiles broadly and questions me.

"Will you get in trouble with your boss if you do that?" I deny, because I'm sure Pit wouldn't have any problems.

But I feel that the correct thing is that I don't call him by his name, she continues.

“So what is it?” He asks, I sigh and answer him.

"I think I shouldn't call him by his name, I'm just his hostess." He runs my body carefully making me blush and asks me.

“What is your name?” I hesitate for a moment before answering.

"My name is Nisha," he nods and whispers.

“Nisha,” he whispers, trying my name on her lips, which actually sounds tempting. “well Nisha, I think you don't know who I am, but I recommend that you obey when I give you an order and I've told you to call me by my name, that is Griffin,” His friendly tone has completely disappeared.

This time it is authoritative and intimidating, threatening and dangerous, a shiver runs through my body, I nod slowly and answer him.

"Okay, Griffin," he nods and smiles again, looks at my body again and licks his lips and orders me.

"Bring me a bottle of white wine please, my companion will be here any minute." I nod and walk away feeling nervous.

“Who the heck is this man?” I walk out without looking back at that moment I bump into Mike who is looking at the VIP room with a frown, I ask him quickly.

“What happen?” He sees me for a moment and comments something alarmed.

“Do you have any idea who he is?” He points behind me.

"No, why?..." he sighs and denies.

"It's better that you don't know, when he leaves I'll tell you who he is." He moves away from me, leaving me confused, a little more nervous than before.

I walk into the kitchen and I run into Pit who is walking from one side to the other, as soon as he sees me he approaches me and asks.

“Have I arrived yet?” I nod and he sighs nervously, “well, how's everything going?” question.

"He asked me for a bottle of wine," I comment, completely skipping the request to call him by his name.

“Well, whatever he asks for, whatever it is, you give it to him, okay?” I nod and Pit walks off to his office.

I take one of the bottles of white wine that is reserved for the VIP room and, I take the ice and I go back out of the kitchen, I enter the room once more and Griffin looks at me seriously, devouring me with his eyes, I must say that with In this uniform the curves of my body are quite noticeable, he smiled when I poured him a drink and in silence he brought it to his lips, took a sip and nodded.

“Thanks.”

He whispers still looking at me, I nod and leave immediately, for some reason he makes me nervous, he and his elegant and imposing demeanor, he is intimidating to a certain extent, besides Pit's whole strange attitude. After a while, I go back to the room to find out if nothing else is offered. When I go in, he's talking on the phone.

“Yes, it's fine beautiful,” he pauses looking at me and bringing the glass of wine to his lips, takes a sip and continues, “great, don't worry, I'll take care of it here I'll wait for you,” he says ending the call, he looks at me for a moment and He says, “my companion will take a little longer,” I nod and when I'm about to leave he stops me.

“Nisha?” I turn slowly and whispers, “Do you know who I am?” he pauses, looking at me carefully “or better yet, who owns this place?” I look at him strangely, I frown and answer.

"Yes, I know," he smiles sideways and asks sarcastically.

“Are you sure?” This time I hesitate a moment and answer him.

“Pit?” His smile widens.

"Ask him who Dark is, tell him to call him and inform him that I'm here, please," he turns his gaze to the glass and continues, "By the way, an excellent choice of wine." I nod and ask him.

"Anything else sir, I mean Griffin?" He sees me smiles and responds mischievously.

"No, I'm fine at the moment," I nod and leave even more nervous than when I entered.

I walk into the kitchen and into the office, where Pit has another order list in hand.

“What's up Nisha?” he asks when he sees my face.

“Who is Dark?” I ask, what happens next alarms me.

The list falls from her hands and the color in her face vanishes completely, she opens her eyes wide and says in barely a whisper.

“Where have you heard that name?” I hesitate for a moment.

"Griffin told me." His eyes widen even more, if that's possible, and he answers me.

“How did you tell him?” I hesitate a moment and answer him

“Griffin?” He blinks puzzled.

“what did he said?...”

I don't understand the reaction or anything that's going on but it doesn't take me long to respond.

“That he wanted you to call him,” I say pausing and continue, “to this Dark and tell him that he was here,” I thought his face had lost all color when he mentioned the name.

But after this it is clear that he is about to pass out, without saying anything he picks up the telephone handset on the table and presses a key, it is a direct number

“Good night,” he says in barely a whisper. “sir, Griffin is here and he asked me to call him,” after a moment the call ends and he sees me with terror, he gets up.

“Tell all the staff that we must hurry with the orders, do not accept anyone else's entrance and if possible hurry the diners,” he pauses and continues, “no, tell them that there is a gas leak and that they must leave,” their reaction puts me even more on alert and I blurt out nervously

"Pit, what's wrong?" He sees me nervous and answers.

"It's a meeting between the greats, the fewer people there are here, the better I'll order it from you, now go..." he says, fixing his eyes on the table.

I sigh and without understanding anything I leave the office, I catch up with Mike who is coming in with an order and I quickly tell him what is happening, his reaction is the same as Pit's, which alarms me even more, he turns to the staff in the kitchen and scream.

“GENTLEMEN DARK WILL COME, FIX EVERYTHING!” everyone's reaction is similar to Pit's.

Pale faces look at each other then react and start working quickly and nervously, Mike turns to me and whispers.

“Beautiful, help me with this, what did Pit tell you, gas leak?” I nod in surprise and he replies.

"Okay, let's do this and pray that tonight doesn't end with a butcher shop." She turns and walks out of the kitchen leaving me confused and perplexed.
