SCARLETT POV

I let Lilith go and follow Tina inside. We head upstairs and into one of the bedrooms,

“Your Highness, Scarlett, your mother can shift in the bathroom and have a shower. There is already a towel in there and I’m sure she will be able to find some clothes in the closet to wear.”

“Thanks, Tina.”

I make sure mother has everything she needs and then go look for Tina. I find her a couple of rooms down sitting on the bed with tears sliding down her cheeks. I make a soft noise to let her know I am here.

“Tina? Are you okay?” I slowly move into the room and sit next to her on the bed.

“Yeah, a lot has happened in such a short time, just like in this room.”

She gets up and moves over to the window before continuing
