I try to find my way through the darkness. I have been going crazy. I haven't been able to talk to Dominic for some time and I wonder what is going on, as he has never blocked me out like this. He has never sent me into the darkness and kept me there. Just as I have never knowingly done that to him, we have always had an understanding between us, even when we were hunting and when we found her our mate...

I then see a small sliver of light. It starts low and then gets brighter and brighter. Wanting to be out of the darkness, I blindly move into it. I begin to stir as I feel the bed I seem to be laying on dips and I hear a sweet female's soft voice,

"Go back to sleep, my King. You need the rest."

Then it hits me 'The Need' I feel so thirsty I need to feed, I need blood, I turn over, wrap her in my arms whispering along her neck allowing my fangs to lengthen, not really caring if I scare her or not,

"No, I don't need rest. I need you."

    H POV It takes the sedative maker a week to get back to me saying my order will be arriving any day, that he had managed to make a serum that contained silver and wouldn't kill or knock out either a vampire or werewolf, it would just separate the vampire or werewolf from the human. The other good part about it is that it doesn't need to be injected. I can mix it with either his food, drink or even his blood and he wouldn't know the difference. The only problem I have at the moment is how to get just Phoenix to have it and not include Scarlett. A couple of days after I received the silver serum, an opportunity opened up for me to use it. I put half of the silver serum into a water bottle that was exactly the same as Phoenix's. I met up with Phoenix in the training field. I discreetly swap out his bottle and then enjoy a good sparring match with him. By the time we have finished, we are both breathing heavily and exhausted.
