(THE ONE SHE KNOWS)

“KYLE. Where is the original Kyle of this world and book, Emie?”

Emie half smiles, looking directly towards the Maiden’s eyes with a mix of longing and pain. A brush of anger and deeper resentment. Then she asks the question that the Maiden should be asking first before anything else.

“Have you ever wondered after what you heard and knew now, Daniela? Did it come to your mind the question asking me about, who I am?”

“You are like an NPC in a game. A soulless one created to do what is asked of you to do in the first place. A mere stem that builds the flower, and a guardian of some sort.”
