THORNE'S POV

We arrived at the Nightshade exactly five hours later. Lyra had fallen asleep and so had Ryan while I had woken up along the way. The car came to an halt in front of the pack house, Lyra's eyes fluttered open in a slow angelic manner.

"Are we there yet?" She asked drowsily.

"Yes." I replied to her. Lyra sat up and opened the car door while I grabbed Ryan from the seat carrying him on my shoulders.

I saw Lyra flinch for a second as she studied the environment, she came to stand beside me.

"I don't know what to say but it looks just the same as five years ago." She breathed.

I squeezed her hands tightly, "You're past that memory now, Lyra. You don't have to relive it. At least, not alone, I'm always here with you." I assured her.

"I really appreciate your concern, Thorne. You're infact one of the best things that has ever happened to me." She smiled.
