I hurriedly ran to my room, my heart skipped with every step i take and the moment i shut the door behind me. I sank to the floor.

My father and I walked down to the dinning room and settle in for breakfast while discussing silently

"Will you come swimming with me later in the evening? and yes... have you invited your friends to your birthday party?".

"I want it private, except they come but i won't be inviting them here?. i replied. not after what happens yesterday.

Setting aside his fork, my father asked.

"Why?" his brow furrowed and his tone questioning.

"Because this new year am stepping into, i need solitude, It is more like a personal decision i have made" i answered. But was that the truth. No!
