The Breakthrough

Chapter Nine.

I had been waiting for years for this breakthrough. My entire existence had been solemnly based on one thing, and it was to find my brother’s killer. But it kept on looking like I would never be able to. There was no trace of the killer, we didn’t know the gang who killed him.

Even though we always hit a dead end with our investigation, I never stopped hoping that one day, I would find my brother’s killer.

“Share the location with me, and I’ll join you there in a minute.” I responded and dropped the call, rushing into the closet.

I quickly dressed up in a black shirt and blue jeans, matching it up with black comfy sneakers. I opened my safe and carried the gun box, making my way out of the closet.
