Chapter 17

“Are you okay dear?” she asked, noticing the tears which threatened to spill.

“I have no home anymore” I whimpered.

My tears started flowing when she pulled me into a hug, I felt useless from being a bad girl from the mafia all of a sudden I was back to being a weak little girl who needed comfort. The lady was kind enough to take me in, we both got on her husband's old blue van.

She looked good for her age, she said it was because she was into fitness at a very young age. She had black hair which was fading into grey, a small amount of wrinkles, light brown eyes, and a tanned complexion. Her muscles showed that she wasn’t lying about being into fitness.

Her husband on the other hand looked like he was in World War One. He looked old and fragile, he limped whenever he walked, had a lot of wrinkles, and trembled every few minutes. His hair was grey already and his eyes were a beautiful shade of dark blue.
