Ella eyes met the Death lords once again, his facial expressionmortified her, his eyes were not the lovely blue she uses to see, it was different and ahe didn't like it. For the first time in a long time, she was scared of him.
"Make sure the vultures feeds on them!" The Death lord lamented before leaving the premises. The maids all began to breath properly as soon as the Death lord left. They were all worried and scared for their lives.
Everyone was scared to cross path with the Death lord as he wasn't going to spare them by cutting a part of their body but instead, he'd kill them before they say any word.
Ella felt numb on her legs as the maids left, she couldn't move. That guard didn't talk back at the Death lord neither did he do anything wrong instead she was the one that broke the rules but the guard got killed and she got away with it. The felt guilty, she was the cause of his death.

The Death lord held unto Ella's palm as he caresses them. It's been two days since she fell unconscious. The bullet didn't penetrate deep into her skin and luckily for her, it was on the shoulder which meant she could survive it.The Death lord hasn't left his room for two days as he watched Ella, asking her to wake up soon. He refused to eat as he told himself he wouldn't unless he saw that Ella was safe and sound.After the physician removed the bullets, the Death lord carried Ella in his arms into his room as he didn't want anyone to touch her except him.He looked at her paled face and dried lips, he traced his index fingers on her soft cheek, he blamed himself and he wished he hadn't pulled the trigger.He didn't kill the woman who Ella had protected as he believed Ella had a reason for putting her life on the line for the woman so he locked her in one of the rooms with his guards monitoring her.
