"Why are we doing this again?" I asked, shooting a glance at Arielle, who had just gotten out of the car. She smiled and stretched out her arms and legs before walking up to me.

"Because you, my brother need to loosen up." she smiled widely, popping the p on her last word.

She sighed dramatically and crossed her arms.

"You stay in your office twenty-four seven, aren't you tired?"

I looked up at the long trail that didn't seem to end and turned back to her.

"So you think hiking on a Sunday afternoon is the best way to loosen up?"

Without waiting for me, she started to make her way up the mountain. I sighed, following after her.

Sometimes, I wonder who is older. If I had known we were going to go hiking, I would have given more ground excuses.
