CHAPTER 5
Anastasia POV
Today is Monday and I am up ready for work but, my muscles hurt, I can barely move. I took a shower and got dressed, leaving my naturally curly hair to dry on its own.I got in my black Porsche 911 GT3 and drove to work. I got into the elevator right before it closed and I didn't even notice someone was in there."You know it's very impolite not greeting your boss Anastasia," he said making me jump from my place.God, I love the way my name rolls off off his tongue.What am I saying?"You still haven't greeted me, Anastasia, "he said snapping me out of my bubble."Good morning, 'boss', "I said through gritted teeth."Not good enough," he replied, I was going to ask him what he meant but, he grabbed my neck pressed me against the elevator wall and attacked my neck with his mouth. While he was kissing my neck, a moan escaped my lips. I walked right back out immediately. I heard him calling my name but, I ignored him, and went to my office. He thought he can use me? Well, think again. 2Ignoring all this, I began preparing things for the meeting which was in fifteen minutes. I took my stuff and telephoned Luca, telling him that I am going down and the meeting starts in ten minutes.I went to the elevator and got to the meeting room. I prepared the room for the meeting, putting water bottles in front of every seat. Preparing the papers and all."It looks good stop stressing," I heard Luca say. 4"I'm glad you approve of my work 'boss'," I said with sarcasm dripping from my voice. 3"Seriously Ana, we are back to square one?" 13"I'm not some toy Luca, you can't play around with me, and expect me to stick around, you literally marked me and in the next 30 minutes you had another girl on your lap!" I raised my voice but, kept it under control because people are going to be arriving soon and I don't want them to hear."Are you jealous Anastasia?!" he said smirking and taking a step towards me. I pushed him away. 4''There's a difference between jealousy and self-respect," I said, just when the people we are having a meeting with, came in. 60- Time skip -After the meeting, I went to the office did some work ignoring Mr. Ego the entire day and currently, I am on my way home but, I heard someone screaming help. So I don't know what got over me but, I parked my car quickly and I grabbed my gun and by the way, Black Wind is engraved into it. 2I listened to where the sound was coming from, and it led me to a dark alleyway. I found about fifteen men against nine. Eight were on the floor and one was crying until the gunshot went off and he was dead.One of them saw me and I didn't realize it until one of them took my gun. I was in shock, nobody takes my gun. I have seen killing before, so, I don't know what happened,but I was fast to get into my fighting position, I was ready to fight. As one laughed and approached me thinking I'm a joke, I kicked him in the jaw knocking him out cold but, that's when I felt a sting sensation in my neck. Anastasia POVAfter the meeting, he gave me tons of work to do.I had to arrange a meeting, book flights, and so many other things. All I did for the rest of the week was this exact routine.I worked extra hours every day but, I'm glad that it's finally over. I'm so exhausted, I'm glad it's the weekend.I have been wanting to go to a bar to clear my mind and get drunk off my ass.Once I had gotten home and taken a shower. Anastasia POVThe next morning I woke up with a terrible hangover but, I'm used to it. I got up, took a shower, ate breakfast, grabbed my gym bag, and went to the underground gym.I need to practice more, I haven't practiced in so long.
