"I have an interview in a few, so later it is then?"

"Does this interview of yours have anything to do with what I'm thinking it's for?" Ian stayed quiet for a few seconds before turning towards the door. "We've already talked about this."

"We did but that doesn't mean I can't do what needs to be done. It's for the best and I need you to trust me with this." Ian said before walking out of my room leaving the door slightly ajar.

"A babysitter isn't what I need Ian," I yelled after him even though he was out of my line of vision, he could very much hear me.

"It's not a babysitter but call it whatever you want to call it, I'm doing this and that is final, Jace." Ian came back shortly with a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese with a cup of coffee in hand.

I growled at his words, my eyes darkening at his hard unflinching face. He dropped the tray beside me and gestured for me to get on with the food.
