"Stand up, woman." He ordered in the chilliest demeanor as if he was close to murdering somebody.
When Daeira did so, she eased up her aching knees and faced him as he stood up and trained her eyes towards the frozen figure of Heoshe, Hani, and Kimie.
"These insignificant humans hit you and brought you to your knees?" he asked darkly. His eyes were almost a replica of hell when he regarded the unmoving stepmother and stepsisters of Daeira.
"Oh, it's alright. I'm used to it anyway." Daeira said while she grinned at him but the tears that escaped her eyes betrayed her true feeling which in return made him frowned. She chuckled while she wiped those away. "It must be the slap." she explained the tears.
GD approached her first and touched her cheek and mumbled a strange language before she felt the coldness that predicated his words. Her eyes rounded when there was no more pain on her cheeks and on her knees. As if it never even occurred.
