Adam was beyond irritated and irrational as we made our way back to the hotel. I wanted to scream at him, have a tantrum in the middle of the street for the way he tore me away from my mate. More then that, I wanted to know why my mate hadn’t seemed to recognize me as his instantly. The man seemed indifferent to the bond, but I knew he was mine the moment I laid eyes on him.
“I can’t believe the nerve of him.” Adam huffed. “He has some gall denying me the opportunity to be your champion. Does he expect you to face him in combat?”
