20. Suspicious of Erick

"Why Erick?"

Angel shook her head quickly. "It's okay, Mom."

"Are you afraid that Erick will become a cor-"

Angel immediately got up from the sofa without listening to her mother's chatter. He ran up the stairs to enter the room. His feet moved back and forth with a confused face, occasionally ruffling his own hair.

"Could it be Erick? Oh my God, how could that be..."

He took his cell phone out of his trouser pocket, staring blankly at the cell phone screen. "And stupidly I didn't have Erick's number to call."

Angel took a deep breath, walked towards the balcony, then stood on the guardrail. He looked up slightly, looking at the blackened sky.

"I- won't forgive Erick if he is the perpetrator," growled Angel as his grip on the railing tightened.

"But how am I going to find out?" Angel closed his eyes, occasionally he could still hear rough gasps coming from his lips. However, in the next second Angel's eyes opened wide. "Gosh, how could I forget...."
