"Mom..." Angel looked at her mother who was sitting together at the dining table.

"Mommy really still thinks about the aunt who owns the shop," said Mrs. Matthew with a dreamy look.

"The police have taken care of it, Mom."

Mrs. Matthew nodded slowly, grabbed the wine glass and took a sip. "The more this city becomes less safe."

Angel held her mother's hand gently. "Angel promises to always protect Mommy. Angel will make sure Mommy is always safe."

Mrs. Matthew smiled, reaching out a hand to gently pat the girl's cheek. "You've grown up a lot, darling... and now you're even braver."

"Because I'm tired of being the girl who is often underestimated, Mom. And Erick is the one who helped me turn into like this."

"Looks like mommy has to thank Erick."

"No need, Mom... because Erick helped me change with a betrayal," Angel muttered to himself.

"Mom..." Angel looked back at her mother closely, "I'm going on holiday with Erick."
