Can we all acknowledge the fact that a good meal could easily brighten up a person's day?

Lily buried her face in the three person's meal digging in like she was in her own territory. The guards stationed at the dining hall didn't bother spearing her even the slightest glance, they still loved their sight and would like to keep it that way.

But Lily couldn't care less that Dmitri's eyes were transfixed on her. Her stomach churned the previous night from hunger and although she had refused to eat the night before she immediately regretted that decision.

“The food isn't running wifey.” Dmitri remarked.

Lily cleared her throat, placing the cutlery down on the table.

Lily flushed red at his comment. If the ground could hear her prayers, she wished it'd swallow her at that moment.

“Why didn't you have dinner last night?” He inquired.

Lilu didn't respond right away, her head leveled down to the table avoiding eye contact.
