It was silent inside the office that I could hear my uneven breath. I stared at the blinking cursor on the screen, many thoughts going through my mind. It's already in the middle of the night but here I was, still in my office with no desire to go home.

I have been re-playing the same video over and over again but…it didn't make any change. There was a time glitch during the second night at the laboratory where I presented the sample for paternity DNA test. I think…that was the night that the results were swapped.

I asked the laboratory manager to give me the CCTV footage from four years ago because I wanted to check it for myself to make sure that it was true. My jaw twitched and my grip on the mouse tightened until I heard a cracking sound.

“Take good care of our son. When we're done with our mission, we’ll go somewhere far away.” The words re-played in my mind over and over again.
