- Frederick -

Zeba scoffed rather excitedly, for there was a smile on her face.

"My goodness, aren't the dots connecting now?" she exclaimed. "Isn't it very likely that Sia has helped Franklin escape?"

"What are you talking about?" My voice had completely gone down by now.

"Just a moment ago, you were looking for her all over the place, and shortly after, we find out that Franklin is nowhere to be found. Now I am very certain that no one outside this pack would come get him. I wouldn't even say his people because they did not want him to fight you. They are obviously afraid of you and will not step on your toes few days after you attacked them with a mighty army. So now, who else but your lovely wife would have gotten Franklin out of this place? You know she knows the palace and the pack well. They are possibly hiding somewhere."

"Sia would do such a stupid thing," I muttered. "She cannot do that."

"Franklin is your enemy, but how about Sia? Is he her enemy, too?"

"Why will she help h

    - Franklin -I was rapidly regaining my strength, and I practised every time I could to sharpen my skills and become accustomed to Sia's weapons. They were very cool to handle, and I found some that completed my wolf perfectly. We spend most of the hours of the day training and strategising, discussing all our plans and how to carry them out.Durelo has been particularly helpful, especially handling our operations out there."Our men are almost ready," he told us the last time we discussed. "Any time now, we will be ready to move when you give the orders.""How many people are we talking about here?" I wanted to know."Over a thousand," he replied after calculating for a few seconds."Oh?" I exclaimed lightly. "I did not expect they would be that much. Even though it's not as much compared to Frederick's army, of course but I did not expe

    - Kira -We were all eating in the royal dining room. Cleopatra, Xavier, my mother and I. Everything was peaceful until chaos came when Giselle walked in.We all looked up, surprised to see her since she have not been eating with us all this while. We watched her intently as she approached and without a word to any of us, walked to the most important seat which only Franklin used to sit on.My mouth fell open, and I turned to look at the others to be sure they were all seeing what I was seeing. They looked as shocked as I was, and Gissele paid no attention to anyone as she comfortably took the seat and relaxed. That was when I even noticed the dress she was wearing. She was all dressed up like nothing was wrong anywhere and she was having a good time."Good morning to you all," she beamed a smile. "What's for breakfast this morning? You cannot imagine how hungry I am just waking up."She set to dish the food unto a plate and a maid ru

    - Sia -I felt so much relief immediately Durelo returned, and I rushed to meet him at the door."You took so long to return," I said hastily. "What's happening? I gave Franklin the medication you brought, and he's been down for hours since you left."I led him to where Franklin was, and he looked down."He's soundly sleeping," he said, and I squinted my eyes. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you. The drug is very strong, and one of its side effects is that it makes one black out almost immediately.""And did this last long?" I had to ask."It's not much problem. All the time he's out, the medicine is doing its work so...""And that is why you didn't think to tell me that?" I nudged him. "Do you know how worried I was when he suddenly went down just like that?""I'm so sorry," he apologised but with a small smile. "I don't know how come I forgot. But you should have noticed how his skin is healing up already. That should have calme

    - Durelo -"I did found out something," I told Frederick. "I found one of the secret places which confirmed to me that Sia and Franklin had been there.""Good!" He half yelled, feeling very pleased. "Oh this is great news. Take me there immediately- wait, what?"He looked at him, and it seemed his brain just resounded with what he heard. "What do you mean it confirmed to you they were there?""Because they are no longer there," I said and saw his excitement die down immediately."What are you saying?""Exactly what I found out," I said. "I went there, but I did not see them. However, I can assure you they were there. There were signs that someone had been there recently.""So...how," he stuttered, trying to make sense of what I just said. "Then how come they are no longer there?""I don't know," I shrugged. He glared at me and grabbed me roughly."You liar!" He roared. "How dare you make a fool of me? What do you think I

    - Frederick -I had met Durelo several hours after the mysterious disappearance of Franklin and Sia. I had sent orders to all parks to be on the lookout for them, but there was no positive feedback."Durelo, how is it going?" I asked with a friendly jab, and he looked at me, displeased."Is there anything I can do for you, my Lord?" He asked very formally."At ease, please," I laughed lightly. "You don't have to be so formal with me. I understand you are always about your duty, but I want us to be friends now."His eyes remained fixed on me as I talked."From now henceforth you will eat and dine with me," I told him. "We will work hand in hand. I see you have great potential to be around me and I like you.""I will not be comfortable eating and dining with you as you are my Lord and I am at your beck and call.""This

    - Sia -When Durelo left, I and Franklin sat again in silence. There was so much to say, but rather not say it...yet.After a while, he stood up and walked around the room, checking the weapons."You made these yourself?" He asked and I nodded."Yeah," I replied."Mm," he grunted. "I am so impressed."I smiled lightly."I am guessing your father inspired this," he continued."You are very right," I affirmed. "He made me study all these for about three years. My mother did not like that I had to leave the pack. She thought my father was putting too much pressure on me and she wanted me to be a normal princess and live the royal life. She complained my father's training was only making me razz and less of royalty," I chuckled lightly. "She complained about a lot of things and only when she was dead did we rest from them."I said this lightly, not because I did not love my mother but dark humour would be more soothing in a
