Nate’s POV

I left with a smile and I remembered what I asked Mabel to do, using a tour and showing the designs we have already was a way for me to see Layla every day.

I got to the hospital feeling so happy and when I entered my father’s ward, my mom was not in and I got told she stepped out.

I sat close to my father, “Father can I tell you a secret?” I assumed he said yes to me, “Well father, I will be seeing more of my ex-wife, can you believe that? I just need to try harder and we will get back together and be happy forever.” I let out a genuine smile holding my father’s hand.
