Chapter 43

Number thirteen entered Lord Adonis chambers with her heart beating rapidly with her head bowed. She kept telling herself that she has done nothing and thus have no reason to be afraid.

"I hail the end of all beginning." She paid her respect in a shaky voice but got no response. "May be my voice was too low, l have to increase my tone." She said to herself. "I hail the end of all beginning." Number thirteen repeated in a louder voice yet the situation was the same as the first, there was no response.

She raised her head to get acquainted with the new environment she had found herself and was stunned beyond words when she saw the most beautiful and luxurious bedroom she had seen all her life.
